List of the Who band members
The Who are an English rock band, founded in under the name the Detours. When they changed their name to the Who in , their classic line-up was of founders Roger Daltrey (vocals), Pete Townshend (guitar) and John Entwistle (bass), with Keith Moon (drums). Founder members Daltrey and Townshend have been the only constant members throughout the band's history.[2]
History
[edit]The band were first founded by Roger Daltrey under the name the Detours in the first line-up, in mid, included Pete Townshend on lead guitar, Daltrey on rhythm guitar, John Entwistle on bass, Harry Wilson on drums, and Colin Dawson on vocals. Wilson was fired in mid and replaced by Doug Sandom.
Dawson left after frequently arguing with Daltrey and was briefly replaced by Gabby Connolly, before Daltrey moved to lead vocals. Townshend, with Entwistle's encouragement, became the sole guitarist. Sandom was fired after an argument with Townshend in ; the band continued with stand-in drummers until Keith Moon joined in April of that year.
Moon was the Who's drummer until his death on 7 September ; the band decided to continue without him. He was replaced that

Historik
[redigera | redigera wikitext]Plommons bildades från fyra unga kvinnor inom Sundbyberg samt fick sitt namn efter en från medlemmarna, Eva Håkansson (nu Soelberg), såsom hade smeknamnet ”Plommon”. Gruppen hade sin första viktiga spelning nära en popbandstävling på Nalen Därefter uppträdde de vid Skansen samt Gröna skogsdunge, vilket blev deras genombrott och ledde till ett folkparksturné. beneath de nästa åren framträdde de inom poprogrammet Drop in vid SVT, spelade in skivor och turnerade i land, Finland, land och Tyskland. Plommons plats förband mot The Who när dem spelade vid Hovet inom Stockholm. Gruppen upplöstes då basisten ”Plommon” och trummisen Ewa Kroon började analysera på universitetet. Sångerskan samt gitarristen Maud Lindqvist startade då en nytt grupp, Sunny Girls.
